Dong Lei

Dong Lei was born in 1981 in Qiqihaer, China. He studied sculpturing at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, where he received the Light of the College Prize in 2004. His works have been shown in numerous festivals.

Profiting from his education in sculpture, Dong Lei focuses on elegant structures and formations in his video works. He is fascinated with creating sculptures of motion.
