Li Hui

Li Hui was born in 1977 in Beijing, China. In 2003, he graduated from the sculpturing department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing.

His works have been shown in numerous exhibitions, including “Consubstantiality of Male and Female” (798 Space, Beijing, 2003); “Playing with Chi Energy” (House of Shiseido, Tokyo, Japan, 2004); “Chengdu Biennale” (Contemporary Art Museum, Chengdu, China, 2005); and the “Shanghai Biennale” (Shanghai Art Museum, Shanghai, China, 2006).

To create his fascinating sculptures, Li Hui uses primarily steel, acrylic glass, and neon light.
